Performance
In a feeding study of post-smolt Atlantic salmon, Confluence Genetics’ UHP-LO soybean meal maintained equivalent performance to a soy protein concentrate based diet, including par final body weight and feed conversion ratio1. This study also showed that Confluence Genetics’ UHP-LO has a reduced inflammatory responses compared to conventional soybean meal, as well as has improved protein digestibility relative to soy protein concentrate1. Confluence Genetics’ UHP-LO soybean meal has been successfully used in commercial salmon production with multiple partners. Confluence Genetics’ UHP-LO soybean meal has also been found to have strong performance in trout, pompano, shrimp, and other species2.
