Acquired in 2019, Schillinger Genetics pushed the boundaries of traditional breeding with a laser focus on soy quality traits. Advancing their original eMERGE® germplasm base, we hold more than twenty years of data and insights across soybean lines with elevated protein, quality oil, reduced anti-nutrients with competitive yield performance. We’re now pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with those foundational genetics through innovation and technology.
The team’s commitment to rapid improvement has delivered more than 35 high-performance commercial soybean varieties available directly or through our licensees. Next-generation varieties are being field tested, to be commercialized over the next several years.

Confluence Genetics’ Crop Accelerator, a rapid prototyping and facility, takes the plant speed breeding to a whole new level. Our team achieves more than four crop cycles per year delivering soybean improvements at an unprecedented rate. Since 2021, we have designed and advanced more than 35,000 soybean lines, generating over 12.4 million digital genotypes. By accelerating biology and incorporating insights along the way, we set the stage for future breakthroughs in soy quality traits.
